One time, I told my audience when I was a small boy I am my nanay’s (mother) errand boy. This helps build my PR. Everytime I buy pandesal it is a public relation school. Greeting the tindera( store keeper) and giving smile to everyone I meet in the pandesal store.
Being my nanay’s errand boy, I learn to be friendly, humble rather than being crowee person. I owe so much from my nanay of who I am now as a person. I love my nanay so much. Do you love your mom?
Marriage comes. I married my beautiful, wonderful girlfriend. Things changed.
My mother is not at ease with my wife. This is why God is so correct when He commands “. . . . the man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.” Genesis 2: 24.
I owe so much from my wife. She is really a wonderful person. Inspite of the conflict between her and my beloved mother she still clings to me, loves me and lives with me. Not even once she thought of leaving me. Breaking out from me. That’s why I abyssly fall in love with her.
I talk to my wife to please widen her understanding of my mother. I assure her that she is the one I have choosen and love so much inspite of someome whom my mother prefers for me who is just within my neighborhood.
Love! Loving your parents, loving your talkative and sometimes annoying spouse, loving your siblings, loving your friends, loving your children, loving is God ‘s way of life.
